Our Story

Profulgent Technology was formed in 2005. The business was formed to support family and friends of Randy Drozd, the sole owner, who were entrepreneurs and needed assistance with technology in their businesses. Randy began moonlighting and growing the business while working full time. The client list quickly began growing and Randy had enough clients by 2007 to leave his full-time role and continue growing Profulgent Technology on a full-time basis.

Over the past 21 years, the company has been through a few acquisitions. Profulgent Technology acquired the client list of Chroma Computers in 2007, Computer Doctor MD in 2012, Bridgewater Technet in 2015, and TEKPro Systems in 2017. In 2024, the company relocated it’s headquarters to FL to begin exploring additional markets. At the same time, the company also reorganized and Profulgent Technology was born as a Partnership with the original owner and a few key employees from Profulgent Technology. The company continues to thrive with the plans to eventually acquire the clients of Profulgent Technology and dissolve the original LLC.

At Profulgent Technology, we recognize that an efficiently-run business is what keeps our clients ahead in today’s competitive marketplace. Our goal is to optimize IT environments. We fully maintain the systems we support through our centrally managed IT platform. We remotely manage problems and can mediate issues in minutes, long before our clients even know the problems exist. We proactively resolve issues to keep client personnel productive while further increasing the security and reliability of their data.
